Our Story

It all started with a can of Krylon black and a few fat caps. Two kindred spirits, brought together by a shared passion for graffiti, they first crossed paths in the fall of 1997 at UCF and UF events bonding over their rebellious love for Hip Hop and graffiti.

As they delved into the world of street art, experimenting with different styles and techniques, the duo discovered the beauty of transforming blank canvases into vibrant statements. Their collaborative graffiti pieces began to catch the attention of their peers and even gained recognition from local art enthusiasts. One day, while brainstorming, the friends had an idea that would change the course of their creative journey. Why not bring their dynamic graffiti designs to life on something people could wear every day? That was the birth of their dream – a t-shirt business that fused graf art with fashion. Pooling their resources and artistic prowess, the duo founded "Ink Rival" with the mission to redefine conventional fashion by infusing it with the raw energy and bold aesthetics of graffiti. Their shirts became more than just pieces of clothing; they were canvases for self-expression and wearable art.

Ink Rival didn't just stop at designing dope art for their shirts; they wanted to share their love for graf with the world. The business expanded to provide custom print services, allowing individuals and businesses to bring their unique visions to life. From bold lettering to intricate designs, Ink Rival became the go-to destination for those who craved individuality in their apparel.

Through dedication, countless late nights of sketching, and a shared commitment to their craft, the friends turned their dream into a thriving business. Ink Rival not only celebrates the rebellious spirit of graffiti but also serves as a testament to the power of friendship and shared passion that flourished.
